Dear Mr. MacDonald:
This is in reply to your letter of November 13,1992 regarding the renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 5302 ior the Model No. Natick Irradiator package, and regarding amendment of our Quality Assurance Program Approval No. 0238 to include design and fabrication activities.
On the first matter, the drawing that you asked for (Lockheed Nuclear Products Drawing f9v. 442-2096) is too large to ohoto copy on a standard copying machine. We are seeking to have the drawing sent to us from its location in Philadelphia so that we may make six reduced copies for you, as requested. We are trying to get the six copies of the drawing to you as quickly as possible-although we will probably miss the December 13 deadline stated in your letter.
On the second matter, we are seeking to acquire a copy of isomedix's old Quality Assurance Program Approval to assist us in redraf ting ours. We would like to send you the application for amending our Quality Assurance Program Approval sometime af ter the first of the year. In the mean time, neither the USDA nor Isomedix will be conducting any design or f abrication activities
