recent repcrt and indicated that a number of actions and decisions are necessary if we are going to achieve a useful and coordincted data analysis progra,r..
Your comments en what program actions are necessary are certainly valid. AE0D has been working on many of the tasks you mentioned and has not waited until a permanent Director of AE00 is on-board. For example, a draft of a proposed manual chapter which addresses division of responsibilities has been prepared. This draft is not yet coeplete, but will be shortly. Further, additional work within this offica is underway on the subject of data reporting, classification, and storage systems, and on selecting LER analysis tasks. These AE00 activities are described in a Cormiission 1
Infomation Repcrt which is enclosed for your information. As you know, we have discussed a nunber of these items with PAS staff members and as this work crogresses, we will be in touch to solicit formal PAS coments on these draft documents.
