SUBJECT: INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-317/92-28 AND 50-318/92-28
This letter refers to the inspection _ intended to promote public health and safety conducted by
Messrs R. A. McBrearty and H. J. Kaplan, of this office at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power
Plant, Lusby, Maryland during the periM of November 3-6,1992. The results of the
_
inspection were discussed wi.h members of your staff at the conclusion'of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included the crosion/ corrosion monitoring program,.
plant water chemistry control program, and the inservice inspection program. Within these
,
areas, the inspectors selectively examined engineering program procedures and effectiveness
of implementation of programs, reviewed records, and held interviews with personnel.'
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed. No reply to this letter is
required.
