HADDAM NECK PLANT - WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO A72084) By letter dated October 30, 1992, Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPC0/ licensee) withdrew an amendment request dated June 4, 1992, as supplemented by letter dated August 20, 1992. The proposed amendment would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to the operability of the pressurizer. The proposed change was in response to a observation made in a Requalification Program Evaluation Report dated July 31, 1991. Recer.t discussions between NRC and CYAPC0 have resolved the concern, noted in the above report, over the ability of licensed operators to comply with Technical Specification 3.4.3,

         " Pressurizer." CYAPC0 and the NRC have agreed that operator training will assure consistent and literal interpretation of the technical specifications and the technical specification amendment is not necessary.      The NRC considers this TAC closed.
