Wile R E AD Ucrthern 3'utec Power Company hac der.onstrated a continual lack of concorr for the health, safety and welfare of the citizena ef the city and of this ~ ctate, and Wi!E RE AS Northern States Power has ruined places of beauty, polluted the air we breathe, and now is planning to further pollute the water we drink with radioactivity from the new Monticello plant, BE IT RESOLVED that Northern Statec Power be severely censured for its total lack of concern for our health and well being.
DE IT FURTIIER RESOLVED that communicacion be ' cen t to-the entire Minnesota Congreccional delegation-informing-them of our fear of the results of radioactive pollution in the form of lukemia and birth defects along with our request that Northern States Power be stopped from allowing any radio active waste matters from in any manner getting into the Mississippi River and into our water cupply.
I have-been instructed to inform you of this resolution and ask for your help.

WHEREAS Northern States Power Company has demonstrated a continual lack of concern for the health, safety and welfare-of the citizens of the city and of this state,- and WHEREltS Northern States Power has ruined _ places of_ beauty,.
