I .am at this time requesting that this subpoena be signed and issued by you at MECCA's request for the production of these documents at the hear $ ng under 10 CFR 2.'/20. The purpose of requesting these documents is to determine at the pub 31c hearing whether or not the p3 ant as constructed will be abic to or>erate within AEC limitations. It is my understanding from the Code of Federal Regulations and the Ru3es for Practice in United States District Courts to which the Code of Federal l  ; HegulatJons refers that MECCA as an accepted intervener in l thir. hearing is entitled to subpoena evidence re;1atjve to the hearing.

I hope and request that you will act quickly on this supboena so that it can be served prior to April 2.8. Please note that the subpoena does not require Mr. McCool to appear himscif at the' hearing in Minneapolis but would allow ~him to designate
