TELEPHONE CALL FROM CBS NEWS 1-Af ter securing your permission, Claire Miles referred Paul Liebler of CBS News to me.
Mr. Liebler called me at 11:30 a.m., July 8, 1970. He wanted to know where he could get information concerning the nature and extent of emergency plans ' for Fermi.1, Indian' Point 1 and Monticello.
I referred him to PDR and provided him with SAR section and correspond-ence references to help htm find the information..

Because the emergency plan information available for Indian Point 1 is
- so sparse, I also suggested.he review the Con. Ed. emergency plan for the. Indian Point Station which was submitted in the Indian Point' 2 l
docket.
=I pointed out that emergency plans are regarded by the AEC as l
contingency planning for events we do not: expect. -
l Claire had already arranged to-provide Mr. Liebler.-with a copy.of the proposed.Part 50 amendment and associated guide.
Mr. Liebler asked no questions about our evaluations of -adequacy of -
any of these plans, and none was of fered.
