Dear Mr. Kammerer:
/
I have been contacted by my constituent, Mr. Jack Leonard, concerning the recent incident at Three Mile Island.
In order that I may properly respond, please inform me what action the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has taken sub-sequent to the discovery of radioactively contaminated l
clothing found on the Three Mile Island site in order to insure tight security and that situations such as this do l
not arise again.
l Second, please inform me about any continuing releases of l
radiation from the plant regardless of size or amount.
l Further, can you determine the total amount of radiation to which the population within varying radiuses from the plant has been exposed.
I will be looking forward to receiving your response.
1 Cordially,
).
