Pursuant to 10CFil50.59(b), the following items are submitted for the Kansas State University TitlGA Mk 11 Nuclear -Iteactor Facility for the period 1 Oct 91 thiongh 30 Sep 92.
A.
Changes in the Facility:
At their meeting of 5 Mar 92, the Iteat.cr Safeguards Cu inittee approved final implemen}ation of a new physical seemity system meeting specifications of a revised Physical Security Plan which had been-approved by the Nuclear Itegulatory Conunission-on Jul~-91.
The Conunittee found that implementation of the system would constitute no threat to the Integrity of the reactor or to the health and safety of; workers and the public.
IL Changes to Procedures:
llevisions of ' the following procedures were approved by ballot of the Iteactor Safeguards Committee at their meeting of 5 Mar 92:
ltevision of Procedure No. l'i - Periodic - Rcactor intrusion Alarm N /ing The proce(hire was-revised to-be in accord with a newly installed physical security system.(Item A, above). The Cormnittee found l that implementation of the levised procethtre would involve no risk to the integrity of the reactor or to the health and safety of worker and-the public.
Itevision of Procedure No. 1 - Isotope Production, The revision g
was made in order to meet a Nuclear Itegulatory Cminnission re<1uest that we account-for activities -of neutrot-activation analysis sampkw transferred from the Itcactor Facility to State -of Kansas Licensees.
In addition, the revision permits State of Kansas licensees - to designate in ? writing those.cmployees authorized to veive - radioactive materials.
The Committee found that

U.S. Nuclear Itegulatory Corntnission - 2 Oct 1992 Page 2 At their inecting of 18 Se? 92 the lleactor Safeguards Cominitt ee approved editorial revisions of the Reactor Facility Emergency Plan to incorporate new Protective Action Guides released by the Envirotunental Protection Agency (EPA 400-It-92-oll, Oct 91).
This was done in accordance with NitC luformation Notice 92-18.
