Industrial Security Plan Revision 15, Appendix A I
Gentlemen:
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54 (p), Toledo Edison hereby cubmits one original and three copies of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS) Unit Number 1, Industrial Security Plan.(ISP), Revision 15, Appendix A.
The attached document (Appendix A), when separated from the ISP, Revision 15, may be handled as decontrolled and need not be controlled as safeguards information until attached to the ISP.
This document details the actions to be taken by the DBNPS during the planned transition from the currently operating Sygnetron security computer system to a new Security Data Management System (SDMS) provided by Science Applications International Corporation. The transition from the Sygnetron system to the SDMS is expected to begin in March, 1997.
The ISP, including Appendix A, will be in cffect during the entire transition period. Changes to the ISP to reflect the operation of the SDMS will be submitted in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR 50. 54 (p).
The DBNPS Industrial Security organization and the SDMS Project Team expect to 3y work closely with the appropriate Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff personnel during this transition to ensure they are kept well informed of the planned transition activities.
