On January 11,1996, Southern Nuclear Operatmg Company (SNC) requested a 40-month deferral of the 10-year updates of the FNP Unit 1 and Unit 2 Inservice Inspection (ISI) and Inservice Testing (IST)
Programs.
Upon further review, SNC has decided to proceed with the 10-year update as presently scheduled.
Therefore, SNC respectfully withdraws its request for the 40-month deferral of the FNP Unit I and Unit 2 ISI and IST Programs.
