MATERIAL FALSE STATEMENTS CONTAIflED IN THE DECEMBER 5, 1979, SUBMITTAL OF THE METROPOLITAN EDISON COMPANY TO THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY CONtISSION The Executive Legal Director at my request has analyzed the question of the materiality of two statements made by Metropolitan Edison Company in response to the NRC's October 25, 1979, Notice of Violation and Notice of Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties which you identified in your investigation..The enclosed analysis concludes that the statements, identified by,your office, if. false, are material false statements.
