Subject:

Status of CCP Temperature Question 1

Currently, Tech Support Engineering has obtained a j

listing of all plant shutdowns where the CCP temperature is under this review. The computer tapes are currently being loaded by Computer Services. However, they have indicated to us that this will take a couple of days to extract the information. As information becomes available to Tech Support Engineering, it will be forwarded to you for your review. This may commence by Friday.

It should be noted that the historical data of this timeframe does not provide the 10 second increments which was available for the Dec. '95 shutdown. Data reduction was part of the normal computer cystem at that time. The 10 second increment was a recent computer upgrade.

A historical search of revisions has been conducted on the operations Procedure OP 3208, Plant Cooldown. The change to the procedure which required that OPS notify the System Engineer was incorporated in revision 14, dated 4/12/95. Prior to that, the procedure always specified temperature restrictions but did not require notification of the System Engineer.
