The purpose of this letter is to inform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that the Nebraska Public Power District (District) is revising its commitment for submitting the Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) Unresolved Item (USI) A-46 Seismic Evaluation Report from May 31, 1996 to July 19,1996. The May 1996 submittal due date was provided in the above reference.
The District has experienced delays in resolving comments on the final information needed to complete the Seismic Evaluation Report for CNS. Therefore, additional time is necessary in order to compile and review this report. The revised submittal due date and its basis has been discussed with the NRC Senior Project Manager for CNS. At this time, the schedule provided in the above reference for the IPEEE report remains nachanged.
