The purpose of this letter is to infonn the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that the Nebraska Public Power District (District) is revising its commitment for submitting the Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) Individual Plant Examination of Extemal Events (IPEEE) Report from August 31,1996 to October 30,1996, as committed in the above reference.
The District has experienced delays in resolving comments on the fmal information needed to complete the IPEEE Report for CNS. Therefore, additional time is necessary in order to compile and review this report. Ilowever, the District will aggressively work towards completing the report as close to the August 1996 goal as possible. This issue has been discussed with the NRC Senior Project Manager for CNS.
