Daytime Exercise, Full State Participation PURPOSE: The purpose of this Exercise is to test the basic elements of the Comed Generating Stations Emergency Plan (GSEP). The Exercise will include the mobilization of Comed personnel and resources to verify their capability to respond to a simulated emergency.

COMED FACILITIES NOT ACTIVATED: NONE The exercise " Nuclear Duty Officer" will be notified of simulated events as appropriate on a real-time basis. The dispatch of exercise participants to the CEOF, Mazon EOF, and Mazon JPIC will be initiated by the exercise Nuclear Duty Officer. Exercise Participants will be prepositioned close to the CEOF and EOF to permit the use of Comed personnel from distant working locations.
Comed will demonstrate the capability to make contact with contractors whose assistance would be required by the simulated accident situation, but will not actually incur the expense of using contractor support, except as pre-arranged specifically for the Exercise.
