Submittal of Amendment 23 to GE's ABWR SSAR, MFN 193-92, dated November 20,1992 Enclosed are thirty-four copies of selected sections of Chapter 3, Design of Structures, Components, Equipment, and Systerns, Chapter 11, Radioactive IVaste Management, Chapter 18, Human Factors Engineering, Chapter 19, Response to Severe Accident Policy Statement, of the Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR) for the Advanced Boiling Water Reactor (ABWR).
Changes to the various sections of the SSAR are identified on the attached Page Change Instruction. The 11 x 17 inch drawings are also being mailed at this time.
Please note that the information is designated as General Electric Company proprietary information. These pages are primarily corrections or additions to earlier proprietary submittals and the proprietary affidavits under which they were originally issued are applicable to these pages.
