1.0 INTRODUCTION
This report describes the implementation of the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) from the date of issuance of the operating licence, October 26, 1984, through December 31, 1984.
Provided herein are stsnnaries and results of the environmental protection activities required by Subsection 4.2 of the EPP.
2.0 ENVIR0tNENTAL PROTECTION ACTIVITIES 2.1 Aquatic Monitoring The Environmental Protection Plan states that the NRC will rely on decisions made by the Ccmnonwealth of Pennsylvania, under the authority of the Clean Water Act, for any requirements for aquatic monitoring.
Industrial Waste NPDES Permit PA 0051926 dated Septerrber 19, 1984 provides the mechanisms for protecting water quality and Indirectly aquatic blota.
In accordance with the requirements of Section 3 of the Permit monitoring results obtained during October, Noventer and Decenter 1984 were stsimarized for each month and reported on Discharge Monitoring Reports.
2.2 Terrestial Monitoring No terrestial monitoring is required.
2.3 Maintenance of Transmission Line Corridors Due to the time of year (late October through Decenter ) there was no transmission line maintenance reautred.
2.4 Noise Monitoring No noise surveys were conducted during this reporting period. Surveys will be conducted in accordance with the EPP requirements and results will be reported in future annual reports.
2.5 EPP Noncompliances There were no EPP noncompilances for this reporting period.

operation, tests, and experiments during this reporting period which involved an unreviewed environmental question.
2.7 Nonroutine Reports Submitted For this reporting period, no nonroutine reports in accordance with EPP Subsection 4.4.2 were subrnitted.

'1he ten day period that this report covers represents the portion of 1984 after which Limerick achieved initial criticality. The Radiological Environmental 2nitoring Program confirmed that the IES environmental effects from radioactive relmses are well below the IES Technical Specificaticns arvi applicable regulatory limits.
