CCMMONWEALTH EDISON COMPANY'S NCTfICE OF DEPOSITIONS (OF NRC STAFF WITNESSES REGARDING 765 kV LINES)

Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. S2.720(h) (2) (i) and S2.740a(a), notice is hereby given that on May 16, 1985, Ccmnonwealth Edison Campany

(" Applicant") shall depose one or nore NRC Staff witnesses to be identified by the Executive Director of Operations. The deponents shall be the NRC Staff witnesses who have knowledge and information regarding Neiner Farms Contention 1 which concerns the environmental effects of 765 kV transmission lines associated with the Braidwood Plant. Specifically, the witnesses shall'be: (1) any NRC Staff witness who has prepared or participated in the preparation of any assessment or evaluation of the environmental effects of 765 kV transmission lines or other high voltage lines associated with the Braidwood Plant or who has been or will be assigned to conduct such assessment or evaluation.

The deponents shall bring with them any and all documents or materials relied upon by then in the preparation of such assessment or evaluation, including but not limited to: relevant regulatory guides and 8505060489 850503 O' PDR ADOCK 05000456 O PDR _

s' standard review plan provisions; any reports, treatises, or books

_regarding the subject; and any testimony or evidence frcm any other proceeding regarding this subject.

The deposition (s) shall begin at 9:00 A.M. on May 16, 1985 and continue thereafter until canpleted at the offices of Isham Lincoln &

Beale, Three'First National Plaza, Suite 5200, Chicago, Illinois 60602.

The depositions shall be taken before a certified court reporter.
