Neudecker, Supervisor, Health Physics has been named as the Radiation Protection Manager (RPM) at the Callaway Plant effective December 1, 1992.
Mr. Neudecker meets the RPM qualifications described in Regulatory Guide 1.8 September 1975, " Personnel Select on and Training," and NUREG/CR-5569, " Health Physics Positions Data Base,"
May 1992.
Mr. Neudecker is a 20-year veteran of the nuclear industry and is within one semester of completing tne requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Technology - Radiation Protection.
With 10 years of applied rad?.ation protection experience at the Callaway Plant, including 5 years as Supervisor, Health Physics, Operations, Mr. Neudecker has the technical competence to establish radiation protection programs and t
the supervisory capability to direct the work of professionals, technicians, and journeymen required to implement the radiation protection programs.
He is familiar with the design features and operation of the Callaway Plant that affect the potential for exposures of persons to radiation.
Mr. Neudecker's operational and technical experience in nuclear power and his applied radiation protection experience at the Callaway Plant satisfy the training and experience requirements of Reg. Guide 1.8 as clarified in NUREG/CR-5569.
