DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Eubmission of Pevision 29 to Prairie Island Securitv Plan Pursuant to 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.54(p), we are submitting four copies of Pevision 29 to the Prairie Islcnd Security Plan.
This revision is a complete rewrite of the Security Plan.
It deletes obsolete and redundant commitments and statements as appropriate and addresses NUREG 0908 acceptance criteria.
Also enclosed is a " synopsis of change" identifying the changes made and referencing the corresponding section of the existing security plan. ine intent of the current security plan commitments and.etatements is retainec; in this revision.
This revision contains no sidebars since it is a complete rewrite of the plan.
Thase changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the Prairie Island Security Plan.
Due to the map itude of this change and the creation of new implementing procedures, implerrentation will not take place until 60 days after NRC acceptance.
This revision to the Prairie Island Security Plan contains Safeguards Information at. identified by the Commission in 10 CFR Part 73, Sectior 73.21.
The Security Plan revision should not be made available for inspection and should not be placed in the public document room.
