Dear Sirs:
It is my understanding thatRed Wing is no langer the primary responder to the Florence Township nuclear vaste facility.
It is also my understanding that Lake City is now the primary responder.
10 C.F.R. 72.33 (&) provides that:
The licensee shall allow the offsite response organizations expected to respond in case of emergency 60 days to comment on the licensee's emergency plan before submitting the plan to NRC for approval. The licensee shall provide any comments that have been received within the 60 days to the NRC with the emergency plan.
Lake City, as primary responder, is entitled to review NSP's emergency plan under the regulations of the Nuclear Reguitory Commision prior to the submission of NSP's application to the NRC.
