Dear Sirs:

, Dr. Albert E. Bolon, Reactor Director of the University of Missouri-Rolla Reactor Facility, has become ill and is not planning on working for the next several months while he recovers. In his absence I have been appointed to serve as Acting Director. I will also retain my normal responsibilities as Reactor Manager. Thus, I will be serving the dual role as both Reactor Manager and Acting Director. The internal appointment memo approved by Dean Lee W. Saperstein is attached.

The appointment is temporary and will be rescinded upon Dr. Bolon's return to work.
