This letter constitutes a request to amend the Reactor Decommissioning Plan to delete the requirement for the QAE/llP to prepare detailed status reports of the technical, bugetary and schedule progress of the decommissioning-activities' '
as required in section 3.2.4 of the Plan. Ttis change does not involve'a change -j in the technical specifications incorporated in the-Plan nor an unreviewed-safety question.
Both the MTL Radiation Control Committee and the Safety Committee have i reviewed this request and recommend approval. ,
