Revision 28 to the Vermont Yankee Physical Security Plan
Dear Sir:
This letter transmits Revision No. 28 a the Vermont Yankee Physical Security Plan. This revision reflects enhancements recently made to our security program which hpt the changes resulting from the elimination of 10CFR 73.55 d.8, and implements the reactor building vitalization project. Program changes have already been incorporated into our implementing procedures: the enclosure reflects the resultant plan changes.
We have reviewed this revision and have determined that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p), prior NRC approval of this revision is not required.
The revision to our Physical Security Plan, submitted as Attachment A to this letter, is considered Safeguards Information which is to be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
We have enclosed our standard Document Custody Form and Change Transmittal Form for each copy of the Plan revision required by the NRC. Please sign and return these forms.
We trust that the enclosed information is deemed acceptable: however, should you have any questions, please contact Mr.
