Without general public notification or imput we have been sited for a high-level vaste dump. 150 yde. f r ors 1.a k e Michigan, 1/$ the world's fresh water. This deedly waste cannot be stored safely anywhere, so ve will most likely be a permanent regional dump. NQ1.The D.O.E. has stated they l will not be Itable for these wastes if en interim site is not butit by 19sB. a date the"Covernment Accounting Of fice states is unlikely. Therefore I ask fore

- 2. full public hearings held in the sited area.
- 3. an enviromental impact statement filed with the epa and the State of Michigan.
- 4. s full cost / benefit analysis be done examing the cost of nuclear power and examine othe: sources of energy.
