Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38 Commitment A23132 Due Date Extension Gentlemen:
In Waterford 3 letter number W3F1-96-0072, Waterford 3 committed to revise a portion of Administrative Procedure OP-100-010 " Equipment Out of Service" by July 30,1996, as one of the corrective actions for a violation identified 5 NRC Inspection Report 96-03. Subsequent to this commitment, a decision was made to perform a major rewrite of Administrative Procedure OP-100-010. Due to the extent of the revisions, Waterford 3 requested a sixty day extension of the commitment due date to September 30,1996, to allow Operations Personnel to be trained on the procedure prior to actually issuing the revised procedure. The NRC staff was notified of the sixty day extension during a telephone conversation on July 30,1996.
