WOLF Ci!EEK LUCLEAR OPERATING CORPORATION Fitness For Duty Events Report for Period of January 1,

- June 30, 1996 TEST RESULTS WCNOC employees No WCNOC employees tested positive during this report period.

I WCNOC had one directed screen for an employee. The screen was directed for a medical / reliability issue. The result was negative.

j Centractors The number of contractors testing positive during pre-access testing were as follows:

three for marijuana, three for cocaine, one for amphetamines, one for phencyclidine, and one for alcohol. All of the individuals were denied access.

There were two "for-cause" screens during the report period which resulted in removal of access. One contractor tested positive for marijuana and another contractor tested positive for alcohol.

Two contractors were questioned during their pre-access screening due to suspicious behavior and the temperature of their specimens.

One sample was out of range and the other sample tested at only 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Both individuals were asked,to provide another specimen under observation and refused. The specimens collected were submitted for testing and access was denied to both individuals.

The specimens were tested to limit of detection and the results were negative.

FITNESS FOR DUTY PROGRAM CHANGES i

A new Ottage Processing Center was established which includes a dedicated Fitness for Duty testing trea.

The location and the privacy of the testing area are important enhancements to the program.

EVENTS REPORTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH 10CFR26.73 WCNOC did not have any reportable events under 10 CFR 26.73.
