My letter dated November 1,1984 provided the first report of the Nuclear Safety & Compliance Comittee (NSCC) to the GPU Nuclear Corporation Board of Directors.

We are also proceeding to serve it on the parties to the TMI-1 Restart Proceeding.

The Nuclear Safety and Compliance Committee of the GPUN Board of Directors transmits herewith its second semi-annual report, in accordance with Section V of the Committee's Charter. A few observations are included which are intended to improve long-term assurance and maintenance.
The Committee identified no instances of non-compliance. Safety attitudes and practices are satisfactory.
