References:
- 1) ULNRC-2378, dated March 15, 1991 2)-ULNRC-2699, dated September 16, 1992 Reference 1 transmitted an amendment applicetion to revise Technical Specifications 3/4.6.1.1 and 3/4.6.1.2 and a-partial exemption request from the testing requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix J.
Reference 2 transmitted a revision to the Bases for Technical Specification 3/4'.6.1.2 to add clarificatiori concerning acceptance criteria for the "as found" and "as left" conditions:of the containment when performing a Type A test.
This additional information was submitted based on conversations with the staff to clarify our proposed revision to Surveillance Requirement 4.6.1.2b.
Upon further discussions-with the Staff it was concluded that the Reference 2 transmittal did not contain all of the Linformation necessary for clarifying-the acceptance criteria
-for the "as found" and "as left" conditions of the containment when performing a Type A test.
The purpose of this transmittal is to submit a
- -q revised-version of the reviszon.to the Bases for Technical.
Specification 3/4.6.1.3.
The conclusions of the-complete
- Safety Evaluettion and Significant Hazards Evaluation transmitted by Referesce 1 remain valid.
