Issuance of the Coro Operating Limits Heport for Unit 2, Cycle 2 (Rev. 4)
Gentlemen:
Enclosed is a copy of the Core Operating Limits Report (COLR) for Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Unit 2, Cycle 2 (Rev. 4).
This COLR provides the cycle-specific parameter limits for Average Planar Linear lleat Generation Rate ( APLilGR); Minimum Critical Power Ratio (MCPR); Flow Adjustment Factor (Kf); Linear lleat Generation Rate (LilGR) ; and Rod Block Monitor (RBM) flow biased upscale and high flow clamped setpoints for LGS Unit 2, Cycle 2.
These values have been determined using NRC-approved methodology and are established such that all applicable limits of the plant safety analysis are met.
This COLR was issued to the LGS staff on October 7, 1992, for LGS, Unit 2, and is being submitted to the NRC in accordance with LGS, Unit 2 Technical Specifications (TS) Section 6.9.1.12.
Rev. 4 of the COLR for LGS Unit 2, Cycle 2 adds an additional 0.01 to the "EOC-2000 MWD /st to EOC" MCPR operating limits for all General Electric (GE) fuel types.
This revision was generated as a result of the " Unit 2 End-of-Cy;1e Coastdown Evaluation" to allow for oper6 tion of Unit 2 for the remainder of Cycle 2 with partial feedwater heating.
