PHYSICAL SECURITY AND CONTINGENCY PLAN I

AMENDMENT NO. 32 Ladies and Gentlemen:

i In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p) and 10 CFR 50.4, Georgia Power Company hereby submits three copies of Amendment 32 to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP)

Unit I and Unit 2 Physical Security and Contingency Plan (the Security Plan). By copy of l

this letter two copies of Amendment 32 are being provided to the NRC Region II office.

This Security Plan amendment incorporates an organizational change and a change to the compensatory measures for a degraded vehicle barrier system. provides the description and justification for the changes, enclosure 2 gives insertion instructions, enclosure 3 contains Amendment 32 pages, and enclosure 4 is the new effective page list for the VEGP Physical Security and Contingency Plan. The information contained in enclosure 3 is safeguards information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
