dn As i understand it, evacuation was proposed originally inAarea ten miles in every direction from the Perry plant. Now we learn that it is to be only five miles. I think 10 miles is too small an area.
As we learned.from 3 mile island, a warning time is essential. I want to be sure thf.s provision is properly made.
We now know that the Ashtaoula Hospital-the Medical Center-is not equipped to handle cases of radiation. They also have not the number of Deds that may De needeu. ne also should know if there is any danger of a radiated person transmitting his radiation to others.
We also need to know if there was any carelessness in workmen in the welding process that might make the Perry plant vulneracle.
