In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 By the February 1,1985 letter from J. A. Domer to you, we submitted a request to amend the operating licenses, DPR-77 and DPR-79, for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 to revise the technical specifications to allow use of a fifth standby diesel generator (D/G). However, we -

neglected to identify in our letter that changes to table 4.8-1 for the D/G test schedule were included to satisfy a commitment made by the October 1, 1984 letter from L. M. Mills to H. R. Denton. The October 1 letter was submitted to NRC in response to NRC Generic Letter 84-15,

" Proposed Staff Actions to Improve and Maintain Diesel Generator Reliability." The justification for the technical specification changes and the significant hazards consideration determination are still applicable.
