SUMMARY

OF OIANGIS 'IO THE UNIT 2 IST PROGRAM.jBEV.10)

1. Added the Diesel Generator Main Imbe Oil Strainer Isolation Valves (2D10*106, 107, 108 and 109) (page 113) to the Unit 2 IST Program in IJaponso to NRC Violatior. 91-14-03. 'Ihe valves have already been stroked closed in OST 2.47.3A(3B) as required by ASME Section XI since 9/24/91.
2. Changed the " Valve Category" of the following valves and check valves to

" Category A or A/C" as applicable. Also noted that each valve is leak tested bi' 2BVI' -1.47.11 during each refueling outage as carmitted in our response to Inform tion Notice 91-56, " Potential Radioacti"e Leakage into a Tank Vented to Atmosphere".

MM4ARY OF OIANGES 'IO 'IHE UNIT 2 IST PROGRAM (REV,10) (continued)

6. Added CMT Pressure Transmitter Isolation Valves [2U4S*SOV950, 951, 952 and 953] to Relief Request No. 30 (page 187) as " Rapid Acting Valves" (stroke in less than 2.0 seconds) since they are no longer "Pansive" valves. Per ,

IStB rmMations as a result _of. Unit 1.LER 1-92-001,' these valves should be stroked and timod in both the open and closed directions and.are now Category "B" valves stroked aM timed per 20ST-47.3A(3B), (page 73).

7. Noted in the "Pasis for Relief" for Felief Request No. 30 (page 187) that

" relief from trending these valves is permitted by Generic Letter No.

89-04, Attachment 1, Item 6" for Rapid Acting Valves. In addition, for each of the Rapid Acting Valves listed in Relief Request No. 30, reference to "RR30" was added in the "CSJ or Relief Requests" column on the " Valve Testing Outline" sheets for each valve (pages 49, 53, 70-75, 79-82, 90, 116, 117 and 118).

8. Corrected a typographical error in the " Test Quantity" column of Table IWP-3100-2 on page 2.
9. Clarified in the " Comments" section for vibration (V) of the Residual Heat-Removal Pumps [2RHS*P21A and B) (pages 11 and 12) that the motor is equipped with " fixed" vibration sensors.
10. Noted additional testing of the Auxiliary Feecuater Header Check Valves

{2FWE*42A,B, 43A,B and 44A,B] (page 95) in- the reverse direction by monitoring pipe temperature to verify check valve closure per 20ST-24.1 on a monthly basis. Also noted. the additional testing in CSI No. 40 (page 143) under " Alternate Test."

11. Corrected a typographical error in the mark number for [2D30*115]

(page 113).

12. Added to the " Alternate Test" description in Cold Shutdown Justification No. 3 (page 122) for the Service Water Pump Discharge and Header Check Valves: if cold shutdown coincides with - refueling, then "some of the valves may also be" full otroke exercised at refueling per 20SI-30.13.
