20555 Dear Mr. Taylor We are again writing to you on behalf of a constituent, Ms.
Mary Ellen Marucci and a constituent group, thw Cooperativo Citizen's Monitoring Network regarding the storage of new fuel rods at the Millstone nuclear Power Station, Unit. No.2.
As you may know, the Atomic Safety Licensing Board will conduct a hearing lator this fall on the reconfiguration of the spent fuel pool at M111stono II. It is our understanding that this hearing will examine the concerns raised by our constituents.
We have now been informed that our conotituents recently learned that now fuel may be loaded into the pool for tempcrary storage within several days.
Our constituents have raised concerns about the irnpact of the addition of more nuclear material on the pool. We would appreciate your expeditious roview of this matter and specific review of actions to be taken within the next several days.
