Dear Mr. Vassallo:
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54'(p) this report is pre-sented to inform you of the changes in the subject Security Force Train-ing and Qualification Plan which upgrade the plan and do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
Specific details concerning the changes are contained in the enclosures which include the cover sheet, revision summary sheet and Attachment numbers 1 and 2. Delete pages 3-33, 3-34 and 3-35 of the Physical Fitness Qualifications of the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Security-Force Training and Qualification Plan and replace with Attachment #1.
Also delete Performance Objective of Element .14-A on page 3-39 of the JAF Training and Qualification Plan and replace with Attachment #2.
It is requested that upon receipt of this correspondence you inventory the contents and return enclosure #2 to the Power Authority's Director of Security, Safety and Fire Protection - Mr. William F. Harrington.
