This report is considered a single submittal for the two unit site.
I This report combines those sections that are common to both units at the site.
However, where the tvo units have separate radvaste systems, the report does specify the releases of radioactive material from each unit.
In reference to I
this, Unit 1 and Unit 2 have shared radvaste systems for gaseous elevated releases and for liquid releases. The report format is summarized on the index.
There vere two abnormal gaseous releases during the report period.
I They occurred on January 13, 1992 and March 26, 1992 respectively.
Although the l
releases were unplanned, they were determined to be within the Technical were required per 10 CFR 50.72, 10 CFR Specification Limits and n,o reportings 50.73, 10 CFR 20.403 and 10 CFR 20.405.
The first release involved a three minute Alert Alarm on the Unit 2 Containment /SLCRS Vent Effluent Monitor

The gas was monitored prior to release to the environment and no alarms vere indicated during the period of release.
This event is documented in Beaver Valley Power Station Incident Report No. 2-92-016.
