Decommissionina Plan Attached herewith is the Shoreham Decommissioning Plan (DP) as approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on June 11, 1992.
Please note that the attached DP, originally submitted to the Commission on December 29, 1990, has been annotated by bold print to. Indicate additional material subsequently reviewed by the NRC and included in its June 11, 1992 approval.
The additional material was forwarded by LIPA letters SHRC-1832, LSNRC-1855, 1
LSNRC-1859 and LSNRC-1874.
This DP and the additional material is available for viewing on the LAN system.
To view these documents follow these steps:
1.
Login and at main menu select "H"
Information.
2.
At Information Menu select "C" for Decommissioning Plan or "D"
for-NRC letters.
3.
At Table of Contents use tab key to indicate the chapter /section to be viewed then ENTER.
4.
To return to Table of Contents press ESCAPE.
O More detailed instructions on the use of this information will be produced by Rob Gingher and distributed to LAN, users.
The DP, incorporated by reference into the SNPS Defueled Safety Analysis Report (DSAR) by the recently issued Revision 4 to the DSAR (NLR 92-0162, July 21, 1992), is the governing document for decommissioning activities (see page 1-6 of DSAR, revision 4).
