Your letter dated June 1, 1990, transmitted Inapection Report j
50-266/90-201; 50-301/90-201 which reported the results of an electrical distribution system functional inspection (EDSFI) at Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
In our letter dated August 3,
- 1990, we responded to that inspection report and described our planned corrective actions.
The purpose of this letter is to reconcile a discrepancy regarding a corrective action completion date that we committed to in our August 3, 1990, response.
In our August 3, 1990, letter, we committed to install a non-safety-related station battery to allow for the removal of several i
large non-safety-related loads-from the existing station batteries.
On page 3 uf Attachment 1 te our letter, we stated that the installation of the non-safety-related loads would be completed by the end of 1992.
However,-on page 15=of Attachment 2, we stated l
that the installation would'be completed by mid-1992.
We had always intended that this work would be completed by the end of 1992.
Our_present schedule.for completion of the installation of the non-safety-related battery in based on the end of 1992 date.
The completion date listed on page 15 of Attachment 2 to-our letter should have been "by the end of 1992" instead of "by mid-1992."
