Dear Mr. Denton:
As a result of the SGEB review of the VEGP FSAR, a request was made for supplemental information. This supplemental information consists of design calculations which are proprietary to the Bechtel Power Corporation. Three (3) copies of the requested information are enclosed.
Also enclosed is one (1) Application for Withholding,80-108. As the en-closed calculations contain information proprietary to the Bechtel Power Corporation, they are supported by a'n affidavit signed by an officer of the Bechtel Power Corporation, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Conmission and addresses, with specificity, the considera-tions listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's regula-tions.
Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Bechtel be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the Application for Withholding or the supporting Bechtel affidavit should reference B0-108 and should be addressed to:
