Final Acceptance Testing for Emergency Response Data System (ERDS)
Omaha Public Power District (0 PPD) is currently prepared for the final operability test of the ERDS. This final test must be coordinated with the NRC and Halliburton NUS, the NRC's contractor.
For more efficient resource utilization, Halliburton NUS groups at least four plants together for testing.
It is OPPD's understanding that the next available test opportunity for Fort Calhoun Station will be in either August er Sepi. ember, 1992.
In Reference 2, OPPD provided an ERDS acceptance and opcrability date of August 1, 1992.
Based on the Halliburton NUS test schedule noted above, OPPD is revising this date to November 1, 1992. This schedule change will not affect OPPD compliance with 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section VI which requires implementation of the ERDS by February 13, 1993.
