Fire Protection - Transfer Switch Testing Gentlement l
On' Hay 14, 1992, Toledo Edison (TE) met with the NRC Staff in Rockville, Maryland to di1 cuss various Davis-Desse Nuclear Power
' Station fire protection issues, including testing of transfer switches used to meet 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix R requirements. The NRC Staff indicated that-TE must' include within the Operating License,
' Appendix A, Technical Specifications, the testing of the transfer
.svitches that shift' control of the plant from the control room to the remote (auxiliary)' shutdown panel. Toledo-Edison has revieved this issue and vill submit a license amendment application to include this transfer switch testing-in'the Technical Specifications. This license amendment application vill be submitted to the NRC Dy December 31,.
