Entergy Operations, Inc. is submitting the revised pages for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Fire llazards Analysis (Specification GGNS-M-500.0),
Revision 6.
Thin submittal is being made in accordance with 10CFR50.71(c),
as committed in our letter to '_he NRC dated May 18, 19P.5 (AECM-85/0164).
The changes incorporated into Revision 6 result from implemented design changes described below:
- Renovation of the kitchen located on Control Building Elevation 166 '-0.
- Renovation of the Health Physicr, Control Area located on Elevation 93'-0" of the Control Bu tiding.
Severet fire zones within fire area 26 were consolidated, thereby decreasing the total number of fire zones (and the corresponding blank pages attached).
However, tot 91 fire area coverage remains unchanged.
These changes to the Fila have been evaluated and approved by a quali fied fire protection engineer. This evaluation concluded that these c.hanges do not adversely affect the ability to achieve and maintain safe shutdown in the e;cnt of a major fire, as required by license condition 2C(41).
