Dear Ms. Shoemaker:
Suffolk County is in receipt of your January 16 letter wherein you indicate that the Appeal Board currently intends to hold oral arguments on February 27, 1985 on the County and State of New York appeals of the October 29, 1984 ASLB decision.
Suffolk County has no conflict on that date.
However,-given the
. importance of this case and in view of the fact that the last brief to be filed-(that of the Staff) is due this week, we request that the Appeal Board hear the appeal on an earlier date.
Accordingly, we are prepared to present oral argument as-early as next' week if the Appeal Board's schedule permits.
