Lack Of Check Analysis Class 3 Material Gentlemen:

We have recently been informed by Bonney Forge that certain pur-chased material was furnished to Pullman Power Products without all the necessary tests conducted.

This material was upgraded from stock with the omission of the check analysis.

Although the material test reports indicated the material met the require-ments, the check analysis was not conducted, in accordance with NCA3867.4(e).

All nine (9) of these fittings are at the project job site with-out this test being done.

All fittings are defined as Class 3 material.

~ By virtue of this letter, Mr. John Runyan is being requested to locate these nine (9) items at your field site facility and take a sample from each one.

These samples are to be fontarded to a laboratory for the check analysis test.

The results will be fur-nished to Pullman Power Products'at Williamsport for evaluation.
