Report of Steam Generator Tube Plugging

Calvert Cliffs Unit 1 Technical Specifications 4.4.5.5.a and 6.9.2.i As required by Reference (a), this letter reports the number of tubes plugged in the Calvert Cliffs Unit I steam generator during the recently completed Inservice Inspection:

In the No. I1 Steam Generator a total of 340 tubes were plugged this outage. Prior to this outage 150 tubes had been plugged in the No. I1 Steam Generator. A total of 490 tubes in the No. I1 Steam Generator are now plugged.
In the No.12 Steam Generator a total of 500 tubes were plugged this outage. Prior to this outage

107 tubes had been plugged in the No.12 Steam Generator. A total of 607 tubes in the No.12 Steam Generator are now plugged.

In addition, Westinghouse Inconel 600 ribbed mechanical plugs installed in the No. I1 Steam Generator cold leg, and Westinghouse Inconel 600 ribbed mechanical plugs installed in the No.12 Steam Generator cold leg were repaired during this outage. The Inconel 600 plugs installed in the hot legs of both steam generators were replaced with Inconel 690 p!ugs in a previous outage. All of the Inconel 600 plugs installed in both steam generators have now been repaired or replaced.
