Dear Mr. Schwencer:
This letter is to confirm the completion of tasks under Item 1 of Attachment 2 to the Limerick Unit 1 Operating License NPF-27. to Operating License NPF-27 identifies the fire prctection items needed to satisfy License Condition 2.C.(6)d.
Item 1 of Attachment 2 requires the following tasks to be completed prior to exceeding five percent of i
rated power.
(a) Install automatic sprinkler systems in Fire Area 41 (RECW Equipment Area) and 42 (Safeguard System Access Area).
(b) Provide additional autcmatic sprinkler system coverage in the NE corner of the Reactor Building, Elev. 283' (Fire Area 47A).
(c) Complete necessary modifications to control structure fire protection system, elevations 332' ar:d 350', to ansure that the standpipe hose stations are capable of ficwing 100 spm at 65 psi.
This letter is to confirm that PECo has installed, tested and approved for use the above items as required.
Based on the abovc actions, the fire protection tasks of Item 1 of have been satisfied.
