- 5) ULNRC - 3285, FSAR Revision OL - 8 Snubber Technical Specification (reference 1) has been moved to Callaway Plant FS AR Chapter 16, item 16.7.2.1, per references 4 and 5 as part of the Tech Spec Improvement process. FSAR Change Notice #96-007 has subsequently been issued to enhance FSAR Section 16.7.2.1 regarding functional testing for snubbers. Union Electric will be implementing the requirements as set forth below beginning in 1996.
At least once per 18 months, a representative sample of each snubber type will be tested using Plan 2 (37 Plan). An initial sample of 37 mechanical snubbers (Pacific Scientific) will be tested and evaluated against the acceptance criteria. The results of each day's testing will be plotted on Figure 16.7-1 until the point plotted falls in the " Accept" region, or all snubbers have been tested.
