Dear Sir:
The University has changed the name of the Balcones Research Center to J.J. Pickle Rtsearch Campus. A request is made to amend item 5.1.la of the Technical ,
Specifications to indicate the change of names. Enclosed is a copy of Technical l Specifications page 24, amended 6/%, with the new nune.
The amendment submittal of 4/16/% included page 14 of the Technical Specifications with Reactor Control System interlocks, section 3.2.2. A revision of this page, " amended 6/%",is being sent to add two annotations for interlock requirements. The change is being made following a telephone conversation with Mr. Al Adams, Project Manager. l These two interlock requirements have always been effective. The specification is being revised to explicitly identify the interlock constraints as a minimum condition.
Safety of the reactor in this condition is also provided by other technical specification constraints. The interlock constraint already effective, provides protection against an inadvertent or unintended operator action.
